RACHEL SEABOLDT

Owner & Director

Growing up in New Fairfield, CT, Rachel discovered her passion for dance at an early age. Under the guidance of the Larnel School of Performing Arts, she delved into various dance styles, including tap, jazz, ballet, lyrical, contemporary, hip hop, and pointe, marking the beginning of a dance journey that has spanned over two decades.

In 2017, Rachel embarked on a new chapter by establishing Danceline Bethel, initially with just eight students. Over time, she has nurtured and expanded the studio, finding immense joy in sharing the art of dance with the community of Bethel and its surrounding towns. Rachel's commitment to her craft and the happiness it brings to others continues to drive the growth and success of Danceline Bethel.

GRETTA ROCHE

Instructor

Gretta was born and raised in Puebla, Mexico until the age of eight, and has lived in Bethel ever since. Like millions of other girls across the world, she was initially inspired by watching popular television shows about dance. Gretta would spend hours trying to recreate her favorite dance routines and mimicking the tricks she saw on screen. At thirteen years old, she began her formal dance training predominantly in ballet, jazz, lyrical and contemporay, and has been dancing ever since!

Gretta wholeheartedly believes that it is never too early nor too late to start dancing. With a bit of determination and a lot of passion, anyone can be a dancer.

SARA PARILLE

Instructor

Sara has been dancing since she was a teenager. She studied dance throughout middle school, high school, college, and beyond. She is well versed in various forms of dance including tap, jazz, ballet, lyrical, pointe, and even country line dancing! She has been an active performer in musical theater and loves any opportunity to use her skills in choreographing.

When she isn’t teaching dance, she is teaching high school students as a dual certified Special Education and Social Studies teacher.

Working at Danceline has offered her a unique opportunity to combine her personal passion for dancing and performance with her background in child education.

ALLISON MELE

Instructor

Allison was born in the Bronx, NY, and grew up in Bethel, CT. Allison is studying to receive her BFA in Musical Theatre at Western Connecticut State University and adores her amazing community there.

Allison started dancing when she was very young and continued up through high school, and now in college. Allison has mainly trained in ballet, pointe, jazz, and tap. However, she loves every style the world of dance has to offer.

Allison also loves working with young dancers. She prioritizes letting students express themselves in a comfortable and supportive space while also focusing on being confident as the beautiful individuals they are.

Diana Eileen Toland Matos

Instructor

Diana, a seasoned dancer from Bethel, CT, embarked on her dance journey at the age of 6. With a rich background in various dance styles and a foray into musical theater, she not only perfected her own craft but also emerged as a skilled choreographer across diverse genres. Currently co-coaching the BHS Dance Team, Diana-Eileen passionately imparts her knowledge and choreographs routines, creating a nurturing space where young dancers feel safe to explore and express themselves.

With a heart dedicated to the art of movement and a vision of nurturing the next generation of dancers, she wants to serve as a beacon of inspiration, fostering an environment where every child can shine.
